A & E Law Partnership acted as the Consultants to the LSPPA and facilitated the drafting, technical review and finalization of the Public Procurement Sustainability Policy of the state.
At the event held in Lagos, the review session had in attendance the Director General of the LSPPA, critical stakeholders from the Public Procurement Agency, representatives from the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Water Resources, Persons Living With Disabilities (PLWDs) and others. We advised on the statutory basis of the procurement laws of Lagos state for implementing sustainability policy and identified the core objectives of sustainability policy and what it seeks to achieve.
At the round table meeting, the session, amongst other things, examined the pillars of sustainability, the measures to be adopted as well effective administration of the Policy. The sessions also considered the bidding processes and documents, approval requirements and other sundry issues on the disposal of assets and emergency procurement of Lagos state.
